the phrase artistic license should be banned when it comes to movies based on books. after viewing harry potter and the half blood prince i stormed out of the theater in a fit of badly needing to pee and anger. Not to be confused with anger for i badly needed to pee. throughout the movie i turned to my mother( yes she was the only who would see it with me) and would say the words "thats not what happened" i became furious by the end of the movie which ends basically not even close to the end of the real novel. It seems producers find it cheaper or more suspense full when they cut out the main point of the book and core details for understanding the next movie which is supposed to flow into the following and final movie. GOD DAMMIT, they make me so fumed so please correct me if i am wrong no i mean really tell me if my memory is haha tampered with. now i dont recall the weaselys house being set on fire and basically blown up... i beleive the house remained in good condidtion untill the last book when they were attacked at the wedding. also i love how this movie fails to mention the wedding and most important of all PERCY yes percy the weasely prick who played a key role in most of the newer books. he was as well cut out of the film as was the ministery of magic who was supposed to be inquiring about albus and what he was truly up to. i think i am very wrong when i say i recall the dursells also being in that book but i also get 5 and 6 very mixed up. also the end scene of harry potter when albus is killed is not at all how it happened in the novel . the fight was less dramatic in the movie and the location was all wrong... i was most disapointed in the finding of albus where the students raised their wands because in the novel they have a ceremony where the minsitery i believe arrives and harry tells his friends of his dipature and his need to break up with ginny. i also find it annoying how theyy dont focus on the wand at all which is the main thing in the last book that most people wont remeber also they did a horrible job at showing the real pressure drako was under and they left out a big diner seen and well the main character VOLDEMORT sorry tom riddel doesnt count in my book. also finally two other main charatchers we have barely begun to know but in the book we knew so well as to tell u their favorite flavored jelly bean. i am talking about olivander wood and the nut case luna lovegood. they both play major key rolls in the novels and were only touched upon for probably 3 senconds of clip. we only see olivander as a man who is dragged out of a shop by death eaters and has a bag on his head and if u didnt notice the shopp the man was taken out of well u were how do i put it lost because they screwed u over. this a key part of the potter story because olivander is the wand expert HELLO I MENTIONED WAND BEFORE. they dont play up the main plot enough for people who are well not familiar with the working details of ever page. we only see a man kidnapped but those who are nerds like i and read the book would go shit they have olivander dammit!! and those who read the book would also go shit luna is a freak haha because she may be the weirdest girl ever but.. she is just as important.. now i feel they have things wrong is this movie because if i remember right lunas house is destroyed not the weaselys because her father knew information or held something very important which then leads to her kid napping as well. where she will be kept with olivander and starved. basically that movie blew it was so horrible u didnt even see the secret meeting of the dark wizards or well anyone else. everything was done in such clips so the full understanding became lost in translation. thanks for sucking ass harry potter and to all those who never read the book and are saying they hate snape hahah well ur a dumbass cause he is the f'ing man and without him harry probably wouldnt have made it to the 7th book. oops dont wanna give it away but umm think hard people what would be a good place for voldemart to store his sould hmm... young... boy....?? haha p.s i know imm a nerd but i have a point!! dont mess with the basic story line assholes !!
